Low/No light pistol (carbine optional) 11/13/22 Bryan, TX
Low/No light pistol is exactly what it sounds like. We're going to take the fundamentals that you've practiced in the daytime, and learn how to tweak them for night use. Students will have their choice of using their belt rigs or concealed carry set-up. You will also have an opportunity to get some carbine work in if you'd like. Students can expect to learn how different light conditions affect their vision, sighting, and target ID. We will also work on using and transitioning from a handheld light. A weapon mounted light is not required, but is recommended. This class is an intermediate skill level class. Shooters will be expected to be able to work safely around other students and adhere to the four basic gun safety rules. Class will be approximately 4-5 hours in duration starting at 5:00 pm.
Students should bring their pistol (carbine optional, carbine needs sling and light), belt/holster, eye and ear protection (loaners available), at least three magazines for each weapon, lights (handheld or weapon mounted, preferably both), snacks and drinks (I will provide water and a cooler with ice), and a lawn chair if you'd like. I will provide chemlights for safe identification but you may bring other marker lights if you wish.
Minimum round count: 250 pistol
This is a pistol course with a carbine option. This means that you can bring your carbine and we'll have the opportunity to work with it, but a carbine is not required. There is no specific round count for carbine.
