Practical Carbine

This class ups the ante on our introductory classes. In our practical level classes, students will build on the fundamentals. Students will learn how to reload their carbine from the belt/chest rig/plate carrier. Students will focus on learning how to minimize wasted movement to increase their speed. Students will learn how to manage recoil through multiple shot strings. During this class students will engage multiple targets and be introduced to movement between firing positions as well as shooting on the move. Students will learn to shoot from various positions other than standing. Through purposely induced malfunctions, students will learn how to clear malfunctions quickly and get their carbine back in action. As always, safety is our top priority. Students signing up for this class should already have a solid grasp on the fundamentals of safety, as this is not a beginner course.

By the end of this class students will learn to acquire an acceptable sight picture quickly, engage multiple targets, shoot multiple shot strings, and move safely with a carbine.
